Your content and your keys

Your photos and videos are yours. They are encrypted on your device and we have no access to them.

Because we never hold your keys, we cannot recover a vault if you lose both your PIN or pattern and your recovery phrase. Keep your recovery phrase safe. You are responsible for keeping backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lockspeare to store or share content that is illegal where you live, including any content that sexually exploits children. You are responsible for the content you store.

Purchases

Lockspeare is free to use, with optional paid features. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Google Play, under Google Play’s terms. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy and the consumer law of your country.

The app is provided as is

We work hard to make Lockspeare reliable and secure, and we publish how it works. No software is free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Lockspeare is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for data loss you could have prevented with a backup. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
